I am an assistant professor at Creighton University in the department of Computer Science, Design and Journalism and I am the Clare Boothe Luce Faculty Chair for Women in Science. My research interests are in the areas of accessibility, human computer interaction, and computer science education.
I graduated with my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington. I did my undergrad at DePauw University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012.
Outside of research and computer science, I am involved in a variety of activities. I am an active volunteer through the Junior League of Omaha and I am the Communications Director of my local chapter of LPGA Amateurs. I enjoy keeping active. I enjoy golfing, hiking, biking, skiing, and swimming.
