I am an assistant professor at Creighton University in the department of Journalism, Media, and Computing and I am the Clare Boothe Luce Faculty Chair for Women in Science. I graduated with my Ph.d. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington. My advisor is Richard Ladner and my research interests are in human-computer interaction and accessibility. My research focuses on making computer science more accessible for blind programmers.

I did my undergrad at DePauw University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012. At DePauw, I majored in mathematics and computer science and completed the Science Research Fellows honor program. During my time at DePauw, I served a a tutor and TA for computer science one and was actively involved in our local ACM-W chapter.

Outside of research and computer science, I am involved in a variety of activities. I am the VP Finance for the Seattle Area Delta Gamma alumnae chapter. I also enjoy keeping active. I enjoy taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest and going hiking, biking, skiing, and swimming.
